Tina Sokolovska is a Nikon Ambassador, American-Ukrainian fashion, editorial, and celebrity photographer, creative director, and educator based in New York.
Her work is defined by strong visual storytelling and refined cinematic aesthetics, spanning fashion editorials, brand campaigns, celebrity portraiture, and magazine covers. Tina has collaborated with leading publications including Vogue, as well as global brands and organizations such as Team USA.
Her photography has received international recognition, including her widely known image “On the Wave,” selected by 35photo.pro as one of the Top 100 Best Photographs in the World, bringing global attention to her distinctive visual language.
Alongside her creative practice, Tina is a highly experienced educator with a passion for helping photographers develop both their artistic voice and real-world understanding of the industry. She has led over 100 workshops worldwide, teaching thousands of students across the United States, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. Through lectures, masterclasses, and hands-on workshops, she shares her expertise in lighting, storytelling, and building a strong visual identity.
Tina is also the author of the art photography book "She, Everywhere" , a long-term project developed over more than a decade, exploring the presence and transformative power of women across cultures and spaces.
She is the founder and creative director of 917 Agency, a New York–based creative production studio specializing in photography, film production, and creative direction for fashion, beauty, and luxury brands.
In addition to her role as a Nikon Ambassador, Tina collaborates with leading technology and creative companies including OWC (Other World Computing) and Evoto, exploring innovative tools that support the evolving landscape of image-making.
